Palash Tushar Pathan, Staff Reporter || Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Allama Mamunul Haque met the Iraqi chargé d’affaires in Dhaka on Monday at the invitation of the Iraqi Embassy.The meeting was held at the embassy at around 11am, where they discussed the historic and friendly relations between Bangladesh and Iraq as well as issues of mutual interest.The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in education, trade, economic affairs and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.Both sides also emphasised further strengthening ties and exploring new areas of cooperation in the future.Khelafat Majlis Joint Secretary General Maulana Ataullah Amin and Ameer’s Foreign Affairs Secretary Farid Khan were present at the meeting.
