Dulal Sorkar , Staff Reporter || The monthly meeting of the law and order committee was held at the Belabo Upazila Parishad hall in Narsingdi on Thursday.The meeting began at 11:00am with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lailatul Hossain in the chair.Among others, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Aziz Sartaj Zayed, Officer-in-Charge of Belabo Police Station SM Amanullah, Upazila BNP Convener Ahsan Habib Biplob, Member Secretary MA Kadir Bhuiyan Jalil, Press Club President Mosharraf Hossain Nilu, General Secretary Aminul Haque, Jubo Dal Convener Aktaruzzaman Aktar, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Zahirul Islam, union parishad chairmen, freedom fighters and officials from different government offices attended the meeting.The meeting discussed the overall law and order situation in the upazila, including eve-teasing, child marriage and drug abuse.The participants decided to take strict measures to curb these issues and called for cooperation from people of all sections of society to maintain peace and ensure law and order in the upazila.
