Faridul Alam Farid, Entertainment Reporter || Actress Toma Mirza has stepped into the corporate world alongside her acting career, joining the brand communication department of a private bank.Her new job sparked speculation that she might be stepping away from acting. However, the actress has dismissed the rumours, saying acting remains her top priority and that she plans to continue working in films.Speaking about her new workplace experience on Wednesday (August 19), Toma said acting is still her “first love” and that she would continue to pursue it while making time for her new profession.“Acting is my first love and the place I enjoy most. I am still there and will continue working, InshaAllah. At the same time, I will devote time to this new profession,” she said.Toma described her corporate job as a new experience in her life outside the entertainment industry.“Recently, a new experience has been added to my life beyond acting. It has been a wonderful experience for me. From now on, I will devote time to this profession alongside acting. Please pray for me so that I can succeed in this new role as well,” she said.The actress also shared a photograph taken at the bank’s Gulshan head office on social media to announce her new professional identity. Following the post, colleagues and several members of the entertainment industry congratulated her.Toma was last seen on the big screen in Dagi. She is also preparing to begin work on a new project by filmmaker Vicky Zahed.Despite taking up a corporate position, Toma Mirza is therefore not leaving acting. She is expected to continue appearing on the big screen alongside her new professional responsibilities.
