Foridul Alam Forid, Reporter || Popular Bangladeshi band Artscell has drawn an emotional response from listeners with its latest song, ‘Bidai Kibhabe Janai’.The lyrical video was released on Saturday (August 22) through the band’s official YouTube channel, Spotify and other platforms. Within a day, the song had crossed 17,000 views on YouTube and attracted hundreds of comments.The track is the final song of Artscell’s ‘Choturtho Angsho EP’. Saif Al Nazi Sezan and Shahan Kabandha wrote the lyrics, while Artscell handled the composition and arrangement. The song features vocals by the band’s frontman, Lincoln D’Costa.Many listeners have connected the song with their own experiences of loss and separation. Some shared memories of losing loved ones, while others said the track brought back the familiar sound and atmosphere of Artscell’s earlier work.Singer Minar Rahman has also expressed his enthusiasm for the release. After returning to Dhaka following a show in Chattogram, Minar posted a photo with Artscell members at the airport on Facebook, describing the band as one of his favourites and encouraging his followers to listen to the new song.For Artscell, the song represents the closing chapter of a significant phase in the band’s musical journey. The band says some goodbyes are difficult to put into words, and the song attempts to capture some of those unspoken emotions.The Choturtho Angsho EP’ is among Artscell’s popular releases and also features ‘O Akash’, ‘Ekta Notun Gaan’ and ‘Jani Bhul Korechi.
