Dulal Sorkar , Reporter || At a time when internal divisions and factional disputes have emerged in BNP politics in several upazilas across the country, party leaders in Belabo are seeking to maintain coordination within the local organisation.Ahsan Habib Biplob, convener of Belabo Upazila BNP, and M A kader Jalil, member secretary of the unit, have been conducting organisational activities through coordination, according to local party leaders.Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain bokul, identified by local leaders as a key figure in the organisation, is also involved in the coordination process. Party activists say efforts are being made to avoid political clashes and maintain stability in the upazila.According to local BNP leaders, the issue of preventing political violence in Belabo has been given particular importance. They say the local organisation is moving ahead under the guidance of Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain bokul, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, with an emphasis on coordination among party leaders and activists.Local residents and party supporters say the relatively coordinated activities have helped maintain a calmer political environment in the area. They also believe that resolving differences through discussion could help prevent internal disputes from turning into wider conflicts. However, the effectiveness of such coordination will depend on how consistently local leaders can maintain organisational discipline and manage differences at the grassroots level, according to local observers.
