Monir Hossain Patwari, Reporter || Nazrul Islam Khan, adviser to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and a member of the BNP Standing Committee, is receiving medical treatment in Guangzhou, China.He was admitted to Sun Yat-sen University Hospital on Monday, according to information provided by party sources.A delegation of China BNP leaders visited him at the hospital to enquire about his health and treatment and wish him a speedy recovery.The delegation included China BNP leaders Sakhawat Hossain Kannon, Ashraful Islam Wali and Sheikh Mahbubur Rashid, along with other party leaders.During the visit, the leaders enquired about the veteran politician’s physical condition and expressed their hopes for his early recovery.Separately, a dinner was hosted for China BNP leaders at Radhuni Restaurant in Guangzhou. The gathering provided an opportunity for the leaders to exchange views in a cordial atmosphere.Well-wishers and party leaders have called for prayers for Nazrul Islam Khan’s recovery, expressing hope that he will regain his health and return to his regular activities soon.
