Entertainment Desk || British comedian and film star Russell Brand has been found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.The 51-year-old actor faced a total of seven charges, including three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted indecent assault. The allegations stemmed from incidents involving six women between 1999 and 2009.Under the law, the women involved are entitled to lifelong anonymity, and their identities cannot be disclosed. Following the verdict, the judge said Brand would receive a prison sentence. The court has ordered that he be remanded in custody pending sentencing.The sentence is scheduled to be announced next Monday.
