Palash Tushar Pathan, Staff Reporter || The government has appointed Ms Kazi Jessin as the Director General (Grade-1) of Bangladesh Television (BTV) on a one-year contractual basis.The appointment was announced in a notification issued on Thursday by the Contracts and Foreign Recruitment Wing of the Ministry of Public Administration.According to the notification, the appointment has been made under Section 11(2) of the Bangladesh Television Authority Act, 2001. It will take effect from the date of joining.The order states that Kazi Jessin must sever all professional, business, and employment ties with any government, semi-government, private institution or organisation before assuming the position.The notification also said that the remaining terms and conditions of the appointment will be specified in the formal contract.
