Dulal Sorkae, Staff Reporter || The annual tour of Belabo Press Club-2026 was held in a festive atmosphere on Thursday (August 6) at a traditional tourist destination in the country.The event was chaired by Press Club President Md Mosharraf Hossain Nilu and moderated by General Secretary Md Aminul Haque. Several leaders and members of the organisation, including Vice-President Swapan Mahmud, Joint General Secretary Mokbul Hasan Rajoni, former general secretary and executive member Ashikul Islam Hanif, Dulal Sarker, Cultural Secretary Ramjan Ali Jewel, Finance Secretary Alamgir Pathan, Office Secretary Ali Hossain, and members Didar Hossain Pintu, Ashikur Rahman Soikat, Faisal Abdul and Badal Mia, took part in the programme.The organisers said the annual tour was arranged to provide journalists with a break from their busy professional lives and strengthen friendship and cooperation among members.The day-long programme included informal discussions, sharing of memories, lunch, cultural activities and various competitions. Winners of the competitions were awarded prizes at the end of the event.Speaking at the programme, Press Club President Md Mosharraf Hossain Nilu said journalists work tirelessly for public interest, and such initiatives are important for their mental refreshment and strengthening professional bonds.He expressed hope that the unity and spirit of cooperation among the members of Belabo Press Club would continue in the future.
