Her neatly styled updo further highlighted the sparkle of the jewellery.However, while the overall look received praise, some fashion observers found one element less convincing: her black satin pumps. According to them, light silver sandals could have complemented the white dress and jewellery more harmoniously. Still, Kidman’s return to the Emmys red carpet after nine years became one of the evening’s talking points. Dressed in white floral detailing, statement jewellery and a sleek updo, the veteran star once again drew attention without relying on an overly elaborate look.
