New Drama ‘Choto Chele’ Set to Follow the Legacy of ‘Boro Chele’

Almost a decade after the massive popularity of director Mizanur Rahman Aryan’s drama Boro Chele, viewers are set to watch a new production titled Choto Chele.However, the upcoming drama is not a remake or a continuation of the 2017 hit. Directed by Anisur Rahman Rajib with a story and screenplay by Mezbahuddin Suman, Choto Chele will be released next Thursday on the YouTube channel of Sun Drama. The production also marks the official debut of new production house Sun Multimedia.The drama explores family relationships, emotions, responsibilities and generational conflicts. Actors Arsh Khan and Sunerah Binte Kamal will play the lead roles, while Sahed Sharif Khan, Jhuna Chowdhury and several other artistes will appear in important roles.Speaking about the project, Arsh Khan said the drama carries an emotional family story where many viewers may find reflections of their own lives.“Some moments in the story are deeply connected with real-life experiences. The character helped me look at acting from a new perspective. I hope audiences will enjoy Sun Drama’s first production,” he said.Sunerah Binte Kamal said she always prioritises meaningful stories when choosing projects.“The story, characters and the dedication of the entire team impressed me. I am happy to be part of the first production of a new platform,” she said.The 2017 drama Boro Chele, starring Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury, became one of the most talked-about Bangladeshi television dramas, gaining huge popularity among audiences and achieving record views on YouTube.
