Actress Sabreen Saka Mim has opened up about her career, marriage, divorce and personal life in singer Sajia Sultana Putul’s talk show Putulghore Atmakothon.Mim began her career as a child artiste and later established herself as an actress. However, she gradually stepped away from acting after 2012, largely due to family circumstances. She later worked as a news presenter from 2013 before leaving the profession in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.Speaking about her divorce, Mim said she had entered marriage with dreams of building a family. But after around five and a half years together, both realised that the relationship could not continue.I won’t blame anyone. Maybe I was at fault, and so was he. It takes two hands to clap, she said.Recalling the difficult time, Mim said her parents and sister stood by her. She also revealed that her family spent around two and a half months with her in the United States to help her recover emotionally.Mim said she is not mentally prepared for another marriage at present. Despite being away from the screen for years, she considers the continued love and remembrance of audiences one of her biggest achievements.
