A football final between Gangkulpada South Football XI and Gangkulpada North Football XI was held in Belabo of Narsingdi, drawing thousands of spectators to the field.In a closely contested match, Gangkulpada South Football XI secured a 2-0 victory over Gangkulpada North Football XI. Following the match, a prize-giving ceremony was held. Narsingdi District Krishak Dal leader Md Nazim Uddin Bhuiyan attended the event as the chief guest.Among others, Belabo Union Sramik Dal President Md Swapan Mia, Belabo Sadar Union Swechchhasebak Dal President Md Sadek Mia, the organisation’s General Secretary Manzil Mia, and Belabo Upazila Jubo Dal member Md Zakir Hossain were present.Local dignitaries and people from different professions also attended the programme. Thousands of spectators gathered to watch the final, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the area. The organisers said the tournament was arranged to encourage young people to participate in sports and to create a favourable environment for sporting activities at the local level.Saifan Foundation provided playing jerseys to the footballers participating in the final. The initiative added to the festive atmosphere surrounding the match. Local residents said such sporting events can encourage young people to engage in positive activities while also strengthening social harmony and creating opportunities for people in the community to come together.
