Police arrested a man with 545 yaba tablets and Tk 23,890 in cash during an anti-drug operation in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi on Thursday night.The arrestee was identified as Md Suman Mia, 42, son of deceased Alkas Mia, a resident of Morichakanda area in Belabo.According to police, the operation was conducted in the Morichakandi area around 10:30pm on Thursday (August 21). Suman was arrested from his residence during the drive.Police recovered 545 yaba tablets from his possession, estimated to be worth Tk 163,500. They also recovered Tk 23,890 in cash, which police said was from drug sales. A case against Suman Mia is being processed, police said.
