Police arrested a woman with yaba tablets and cannabis during an anti-drug operation in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi on Thursday.The arrestee was identified as Nilufa Begum, 35, a resident of Jhalakanda area in Belabo. Her husband is Amir Hossain.According to police, the operation was conducted in Jhalakanda around 5:30pm on Thursday (August 21). Nilufa was arrested from her residence during the drive.Police recovered 24 yaba tablets from her possession, estimated to be worth Tk 7,200. They also recovered 200 grams of cannabis, valued at around Tk 6,000. A case against Nilufa Begum is being processed, police said.
