Popular Bangladeshi actress Sohana Saba has revealed that she has been married to businessman Faisal for around a year and a half, keeping the marriage private until now.The actress had previously shared photos with her husband on social media but kept his face hidden and referred to him as her partner. Her relationship with Faisal first came to public attention in November 2023, when she acknowledged being in a relationship but declined to reveal her partner’s identity.Sohana said she and Faisal had been in a relationship for around five and a half years before deciding to get married. However, she has chosen not to disclose the date of their wedding.“We are doing well. My husband and I are happy. We have been together for five and a half years. We got married a long time ago. I don't want to share the date. My son is very happy,” Sohana said about her current life.Recalling how her relationship with Faisal began, the actress said she felt from their first meeting that he might be the person she had been waiting for. However, she did not express her feelings at the time. Later, Faisal contacted her and expressed his feelings, after which she agreed to the relationship.Sohana initially remained reluctant to disclose details about her husband but later confirmed his name as Faisal. She said he is a businessman and is known in his professional circle, but did not wish to share further personal information.Before her marriage to Faisal, Sohana was married to television and film director Murad Parvez for nearly a decade. They have a child together. Following their separation, she went through various challenges in her personal life before rebuilding her life, during which time her relationship with Faisal began.Sohana rose to prominence through television dramas before moving into films. Although she began shooting Kabori's Ayna, Morshedul Islam's Khelaghar was released first and marked her big-screen debut.She subsequently appeared in films including Chandragrohon, Priyotomeshu, Brihonnola and Oshombhob.Sohana has also worked in several Indian films, including Shor Ripoo and Epar-Opar. She also appeared in Maniker Lal Kakra, directed by Afzal Hossain.
