Nearly a decade after its release, popular singer Imran Mahmudul and Sabrina Porshi’s duet ‘Jonam Jonam’ has reached a major milestone on YouTube, crossing 100 million views.Released in 2017, the song marked the first duet collaboration between Imran and Porshi. The two singers later worked together on several other songs, but ‘Jonam Jonam’ has continued to retain its popularity among listeners.Imran celebrated the achievement on social media on Friday afternoon.“This was the first duet song of my music career with Porshi. Before we knew it, the song has crossed 100 million views,” he wrote.Reflecting on the song’s longevity, Imran said it was released before the current era of YouTube-driven music, yet it has continued to receive love from listeners despite changes in technology and the music industry.The song was written by lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon, while Imran composed and arranged the music. It was released as part of Porshi’s third solo album and became one of the album’s most popular tracks.Congratulating everyone involved with the song, Imran said, “I sincerely congratulate and extend my love to everyone associated with the song. May ‘Jonam Jonam’ continue to live on through the love of its listeners.”The official music video was released on February 7, 2017, on G-Series’ YouTube channel. The video was directed by Rammy Khan.
