The programme includes milad and doa mahfils
seeking the forgiveness and peace of her soul, according to a press release
signed by the organisation’s Office Secretary Jahangir Alam on Friday.
Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and
General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir jointly announced the programme from the
organisation’s central leadership.
According to the announcement, milad and doa
mahfils will be held on Saturday, August 15, the birth
anniversary, at all universities, districts and metropolitan areas across the
country.
The following day, Sunday, August 16,
similar programmes will be organised at educational institutions across the
country.
The organisation’s central leadership has instructed Chhatra Dal leaders and activists at all levels, as well as its units at educational institutions, to implement the programmes with due respect and full participation.
