Dhaka, August 4: A series of allegations have been made against Mohammad Badrul Alam Khan, a supervising engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD), accusing him of corruption, abuse of authority, irregularities in postings and tenders, and amassing wealth beyond known sources of income.According to a complaint and documents cited by the complainants, Khan allegedly influenced transfer and procurement decisions and maintained close ties with influential political and administrative figures over the years. The allegations also claim that he accumulated substantial assets through illegal means, including properties and business interests held in the names of relatives.The complaint further alleges irregularities during his postings in different regions, including Hobiganj, Bhola, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Savar, involving public construction projects and procurement processes.Separately, remarks attributed to Khan's estranged wife have also circulated in the media, in which she made various allegations regarding his personal conduct and ownership of assets.
