Veteran Bangladeshi actress Rozina recently visited legendary film actor Elias Kanchan at his Gulshan residence after his return to Dhaka following a prolonged medical treatment in the United Kingdom.During the visit, Rozina exchanged greetings with the actor and enquired about his health condition. She later shared photos of their meeting on social media and requested people to pray for Kanchan’s speedy recovery.Posting several pictures with the actor on Facebook, Rozina wrote that Kanchan had returned to Dhaka from London a few days ago but was yet to make a full recovery. She expressed hope that he would regain his health soon.Updating fans about his treatment, Rozina said doctors in London had advised Kanchan to return there on August 12 for further medical care. She urged everyone to pray for the actor’s recovery.Elias Kanchan has been suffering from a brain tumour for a long time. His treatment in London began in April last year. Although he underwent brain surgery in August, doctors could not completely remove the tumour due to complications.Following medical advice, the actor later underwent nearly 100 chemotherapy sessions in three phases. Despite not achieving the expected improvement, he recently returned to Bangladesh for a short stay to spend time with his family.
