The biennial election of the Bangladesh Chalachchitra Sangbadik Samity (BACSAAS), a traditional organisation of film journalists, for the 2026–2028 term will be held on November 20 (Friday) at the National Press Club in Dhaka.The decision was taken at a joint meeting of the Election Commission and the executive committee on October 8. The final voter list was handed over to the election commissioners at a joint meeting with the BACSAAS executive committee on Tuesday, October 20.Chief Election Commissioner Erfanul Haque Nahid said the incumbent executive committee had transferred its responsibilities to the commission on time.
