Kabir signed a condolence message at the Nepal Embassy in Dhaka
on Tuesday.
In the message, he
conveyed profound sympathy and condolences on behalf of the Bangladesh
government and people to the Nepalese government and its people over the
devastating floods and landslides that struck northern Nepal on August 26.
The disaster
reportedly claimed the lives of hundreds of people, including tourists, while
causing extensive damage to property and infrastructure.
During this moment
of profound grief, our heartfelt condolences and prayers are with all those
affected by this tragic disaster, the state minister said in the message.
He added that
Bangladesh stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to
provide any necessary assistance if required.
We stand by each other, and we firmly believe that the
people of Nepal have the resilience and strength to face this challenge with
courage, Kabir said.
