Narsingdi district unit of the Krishak Dal has organised a tree plantation programme at Narsingdi Government College as part of an initiative to promote environmental awareness and increase greenery.Members and leaders of the organisation took part in the programme and planted saplings at different locations across the college premises.Krishak Dal leaders said tree plantation is essential for maintaining environmental balance and expanding green cover. They called on people to plant more trees, particularly around educational institutions and other public places, to help protect the environment.The organisers said the programme also aims to encourage students to become more aware of tree plantation and environmental conservation.
