Bangladesh HP have secured a place in the semifinals of the ongoing Top End T20 Series in Darwin, Australia.The four semifinalists are Bangladesh HP, Adelaide Strikers Academy, Victoria Cricket Academy and New Zealand A.Bangladesh HP, who finished second in the points table, will face third-placed Victoria Cricket Academy. In the other semifinal, table-toppers Adelaide Strikers Academy will take on New Zealand A.Adelaide and Bangladesh HP both collected 10 points from six matches, winning five games each. Adelaide finished first on net run rate, while Bangladesh HP took second place.Victoria also secured 10 points from six matches but finished third on net run rate. New Zealand A advanced as the fourth semifinalist after winning three of their six matches and edging Northern Territory Strike and Hyderabad Kingsmen Academy on net run rate.Both semifinals will be played on Sunday, August 30, with one starting at 6:30am Bangladesh time and the other at 7:00am. The final is scheduled for 12:30pm the same day.Bangladesh HP now need just one more win over Victoria to book their place in the final and remain on course for the title.
